The Berlin Wall

The Original West-Berlin Wall (before 1989)

Kiddy Citny and Thierry Noir were two of the most prominent street artists who painted on the Berlin Wall in the 1980s. They worked independently but also collaborated on many paintings on the wall. They both had a similar message of unity and freedom through their artworks. Their collaboration is considered as the most important part of the Berlin Wall's history and their works are among the most well-known and recognizable pieces that can be found on the wall today.

Wall Projects

After the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989 Kiddy Citny continued to work as a street artist, but his focus shifted away from the wall itself.

Citny continued to create politically and socially-charged artworks, often using the medium of graffiti. He also began to experiment with other forms of art such as installation and sculpture. His works can be found in various galleries and public spaces in Germany and around the world.

He has gained international recognition for his contribution to the graffiti art scene, and his work on wall projects across the world are considered important pieces of historical and cultural significance.
